All tools on ToolNest process your data locally in your web browser using JavaScript. This includes text you type, dates you enter, files you upload for compression or resizing, and any other inputs to our tools. This data is never sent to ToolNest servers. We cannot access it, and it is not stored anywhere beyond your browser session.

1.2 Analytics Data (Google Analytics)

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website. This collects anonymous data such as: pages visited, time spent on pages, browser type, device type, and approximate geographic region (country/city level). This data is anonymized and aggregated — we cannot identify you personally from analytics data. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

1.3 Contact Form Data

If you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message content solely to respond to your inquiry. This information is not shared with third parties and is not used for marketing purposes.

2. Cookies

ToolNest uses the following cookies:

• Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _gid): Used to distinguish users and sessions for anonymous traffic analysis. Expire after 2 years and 24 hours respectively.
• Google AdSense cookies: Used to display relevant advertisements. Google's advertising policies govern how these cookies are used.
• No first-party functional cookies: ToolNest tools do not use cookies. All tool state is held in browser memory during your session only.

3. Google AdSense & Advertising

ToolNest may display advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our website and other sites. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings. ToolNest does not control the content of advertisements shown and receives compensation when users click on ads. This does not affect the integrity of our editorial content or tool recommendations.

• Cloudflare Pages: Our hosting provider. Cloudflare may log IP addresses for security and performance purposes per their Privacy Policy.

• Google AdSense: Advertisement serving. Google Privacy Policy.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal data with third parties except as described in this policy (Google Analytics, AdSense, Cloudflare) or as required by law.

ToolNest does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. Our tools are educational and suitable for all ages, but we do not specifically target children. If you believe a child under 13 has submitted personal information to us, please contact us immediately.
